MEALS

It is of the utmost importance to me that all children have a healthy and varied diet. All meals that I serve will be prepared to the highest standards. My menu will be tailored to suit your child’s needs.

Fruit and milk or water will be available as a snack throughout the day.

A general example of the foods I would like to offer are as follows:

 

Monday
Lunch – Ham sandwiches, cheese, yoghurt, raisins.
Tea – Spaghetti Bolognese with garlic bread. Ice Cream.
Tuesday
Lunch – Tuna and cucumber sandwiches, bread sticks, fruity snack bar.
Tea – Roast chicken with stuffing, potatoes, parsnips, carrots and broccoli. Banana Split.
Wednesday
Lunch – Cheese on toast, cocktail sausages, yoghurt.
Tea – Lamb burgers in a bun with salad. Apple Crumble.
Thursday
Lunch – Scrambled egg on toast, banana and custard.
Tea – Tuna Pasta Bake. Rice Pudding.
Friday
Lunch – Pitta breads with cheese and vegetables, raisin cookies.
Tea – Bangers and mash with gravy, broccoli and roast peppers. Jelly.

 

If breakfast is required this will be a selection of cereals, toast and milk.

My aim is to do at least one cookery session per week to help children understand how different foods can be used in recipes.
